Njujork -- Udeo američkog dolara u svetskim deviznim rezervama opao je sada na 64,8 odsto, sa 64,9 procenata u drugom kvartalu ove godine.

Prema najnovijim podacima koje je MMF izneo u kvartalnom izveštaju o rezervama zemalja članica, učešće evra u deviznim rezervama u svetu poraslo je u trećem kvartalu ove godine na rekordnih 25,6 odsto, sa 25,5 odsto u prethodnom tromesečju, a zastupljenost japanskoj jena je pala sa tri na 2,8 odsto.

"Svedoci smo opadanja dolara u sistemu rezervi," izjavio je nobelovac Džozef Stiglic, profesor ekonomije na Kolumbija univerzitetu, ukazavši da zemlje sa velikim deviznim rezervama zamenjuju dolar drugim valutama.

Smanjeno interesovanje za dolar analitičari pripisuju padu vrednosti američke valute na rekordno niske grane prema evru, ali i nastojanju centralnih banaka da diversifikuju rezerve.

Američka valuta je protekle sedmice pala na 1,42 dolara za evro, prvi put otkako je evropska valuta uvedena u berzanski promet 1999. godine.

Ukupne strane rezerve zemalja članica MMF porasle su u drugom kvartalu na 5,71 bilion dolara, sa 5,36 biliona u prvom tromesečju, navodi se u izveštaju Fonda.
